At Foliotek, we work hard to provide the best assessment and portfolio software possible.  To do that, we make changes every week.  Sometimes we fix things that don't work, other times we release new features to improve your experience.  Below you will find a description of the changes we have made this month.

 

8.31.2020

What's new

We released some new features and upgrades this week:

  • Nothing new this week.

What we fixed

These issues were fixed this past week:

  • Administrators were not able to view the performance levels attatched to a badge when setting up project templates.
  • The 'include hidden items' option on several reports avaialble to community moderators was not adding the additional data to the reports.

  • Unaccepted Acclaim badges were not being displayed correctly in the ID page editor.
  • Some LTI users were not being directed to the correct landing page when entering their accounts from their course management system.

What's new

We released some new features and upgrades this week:

  • We updated the code that handles files, videos, screenshots, and the sending of emails in Foliotek.  These changes won't really be noticeable, but they are necessary to modernize the system.

What we fixed

These issues were fixed this past week:

  • The Academic Term dropdown filter, available to moderators when selecting a community to view, was not properly displaying the academic terms.

These issues were fixed this past week:

  • Community moderators were unable to click on a student's profile image and view the student's ID page.

What we fixed

These issues were fixed this past week:

  • A visual issue was corrected on the modal that appears when a user's session times out.
  • The date box on the Registration report for Foliotek Presentation administrators was not showing the entire box, making it difficult to select the desired date.
  • The Help menu button in the top navigation bar was not pointing to the correct help menu.

What's new

We released some new features and upgrades this week:

  • Nothing new this week...all those changes last week were enough.

What we fixed

These issues were fixed this past week:

  • Some reports were not properly filtering for selected communities if the report was ran by a moderator with administrative permissions to run reports.
  • Project templates created by community moderators were not being shown in the moderator's project template list.  The templates were created, they just weren't visible.
  • The 'Help' button in the ID page editor was inadvertently opening the full Foliotek Help system rather than showing the ID page tutorial options.
  • The social network buttons in the ID page editor 'Sharing' area had extra boxes next to them.
  • The feedback button for assignments in the Submissions tab in the moderator view of a community was missing its hover text indicating it was used to give feedback.
