At Foliotek, we try hard to provide the best assessment and portfolio software possible.  To do that, we make changes every week.  Sometimes we fix things that don't work, other times we release new features to improve your experience.  Below you will find a description of the changes we have made this month.

 

1.25.2016

What's new

We released some new features and upgrades this week:

  • We made some more upgrades to our payment processing system...it is now better and more secure.  Along with these security updates, we now also accept American Express.

What we fixed

Several issues were fixed this past week:

  • There was an issue with links to projects in communities not opening the project.  These projects will now open.
  • We made some improvements to the way ID pages and Gizmos in Presentation portfolios operate.

What we're working on

Watch for these items to be released in the next few weeks:

  • We are developing the ability for Moderators to add resources and notes to project templates in order to provide more guidance to the students who are building the projects.

What's new

We released some new features and upgrades this week:

What we fixed

Several issues were fixed this past week:

  • The tutorial for Presentation portfolios was popping up each time the page refreshed.  This should only be present the first time a user creates a portfolio.  This issue has been corrected.
  • When viewing a public community, the icons for portfolios and projects for each user in the community were not working.  These will now open the appropriate item for each user.
  • Some Presentation users that were being asked to update information due to the security changes we made a few weeks ago were having issues accessing their accounts.  These have been corrected and the users can now access their accounts.

What's new

We released some new features and upgrades this week:

What we fixed

Several issues were fixed this past week:

  • The group filter on the Evaluation report was changed to select evaluations in which students in the designated group have been scored.
  • The sorting of courses has now been extended over all pages of courses.  When sorting courses, the page will be refreshed each time the list is sorted.
  • The Dynamic Configurable report was showing some unnecessary information for certain Portfolio-Integrated Evaluations, this information has been removed from the report.
  • In some student accounts, the link to submit Portfolio-Integrated Evaluations had been removed.  This issue has been resolved and the links once again appear in the affected student accounts.
  • The Account Settings page in Foliotek Presentation was asking users if they wanted to leave the page when the save button was clicked.  It now simply saves the information.
  • Public communities were inadvertently showing the ID Page button in the top black bar.  This button has been removed.
  • Emails for private shares of Presentation portfolios had stopped sending.  This issue has been corrected and the emails are being sent once again.
  • The slider button for re-sizing the profile image on the Account Settings page in Presentation was cutoff in IE11.  The full button is now present.
  • Some columns on the Form Summary report were not using the correct column name.  The report has been updated to pull the column names from the correct location.

What we fixed

Several issues were fixed this past week:

  • Some of our new Pro and Pro+ accounts were unable to access the Account Settings area, now it is accessible.
  • Using the 'enter' key when searching for an evaluation in a Faculty account wasn't working.  This issue has been resolved.
