At Foliotek, we work hard to provide the best assessment and portfolio software possible. To do that, we make changes every week. Sometimes we fix things that don't work, other times we release new features to improve your experience. Below you will find a description of the changes we have made this month.
7.29.2019
What's new
We released some new features and upgrades this week:

What we fixed
These issues were fixed this past week:
- We corrected some visual errors when creating an assingment in Blackboard.
- Some users were not able to access their Foliotek account when coming through an SSO link.
What we're working on
Watch for these items to be released in the next few weeks:
- We are adding a few new features to Activity Groups. They should be done soon.

7.22.2019
What's new
We released some new features and upgrades this week:
- We completed an overhaul of our email system.
What we fixed
These issues were fixed this past week:
- A security loophole was closed when creating a handle for an ID Page.
- Several new error messages were added to the Portfolio collaboration system if a user was trying to collaborate with themseleves, the collaboration had been removed, or the user had already accpeted the collaboration invite.
- The ID Page background was not being displayed properly on mobile devices.
- The GRIT Gauge was inaccessible for a short time due to a technical issue beyond our control.
- Some changes were made to the way Foliotek handles Canvas Teaching Assitant accounts.

What's new
We released some new features and upgrades this week:

What we fixed
These issues were fixed this past week:
- Nested portfolio pages were opening behind the main content box making them inaccessible.
- The LinkedIn connection from the Account Settings - External Accounts area of Foliotek Presentation was not connecting to LinkedIn.
- Text items in Learning Modules have allowed the editing of the HTML for some time. Now, the HTML editor will allow those creating Learning Modules to apply more styles to them. Previously, some styles, such as height and width, were stripped out of the HTML.
What we're working on
Watch for these items to be released in the next few weeks:
- More improvements to Foliotek's infrastructure are coming soon.
- Changes are coming to the email system used to send Foliotek emails.

What's new
We released some new features and upgrades this week:
- We made more adjustments to the way Foliotek handles images in Presentation.
What we fixed
These issues were fixed this past week:
- Another adjustment was made for courses with more than 50 characters in the name They will now create communities in Foliotek and allow the deep linking of assignments.
- A visual issue with saving learning modules was fixed.

What's new
We released some new features and upgrades this week:
- Sorry, nothing new this week.
What we fixed
These issues were fixed this past week:
- Deep linked assignments were not possible in courses with names longer than 50 characters due to a character limit for community names in Foliotek. Courses wwith more than 50 characters in the name will now create communities in Foliotek and allow the deep linking of assignments.
- Users were not able to access the start button for the CRI (Conley Readiness Index) due to some changes beyond the control of Foliotek. This issue has been resolved and the start button is once again available.
- Projects added to a portfolio via the Project gizmo were not properly displaying the cover image and may not have been saved in the portfolio.
- There were some buttons that were unavailable on the Assessments and Feedback pages in Presentation. The Project and Portfolio buttons may not have been visible when viewing a public community.
- For community moderators, the student's image may not have been visible when clicking on their box on the Members tab or when viewing a student's work from the Submissions tab.
- The stock images available for selection when building a Project or a Community or creating a new account may have been slow when loading.
- Profile and Project images were not being properly displayed on the ID page when viewed from a mobile device.
